草莓项目专员

岗位职责：

Direct the development and on-going management of communication processes and systems that facilitate the exchange of knowledge between Driscoll’s research, production staff, and growers globally

Develop evaluate resource usage in research projects and protocols in  China

Develop conferences, trips, and other venues for the sharing of information to observe specific research or grower trials globally (and regionally as needed)

Support the VP of General Manager Asia Pacific in the prioritization and implementation of applied research projects in China.

Facilitate planning processes with internal stakeholders to align business needs and objectives that influence Driscoll’s Agronomy initiative. Global stakeholders include: Breeders, Research, Regional and National Production, Regional Applied Researches, Sustainability, HR, and Upper Management

Work with HR and Production staff to develop training pipelines and programs for production staff to have strong competencies in agronomy

Facilitate and participate in strategic and other planning meetings

Represent company at conferences, events and participate in relevant industry membership groups

Present and communicate results as necessary

Manage staff

Other responsibilities as assigned by VP of General Manager Asia Pacific

Follow Company policies and practices while representing Driscoll’s in an ethical and business-like manner in all interactions with employees, governmental agencies, growers, customers, etc. 

Ensure the security of Driscoll’s confidential and proprietary information and materials. 

岗位要求：

At least 4 years plus of experience in agricultural and/or biological research.

Must have exceptional strategic thinking, program development and management skills, and good organization skills. Must have excellent inclusionary interpersonal skills with proven ability to work cross-functionally and build effective collaborations.

This position requires solid meeting, facilitation and presentation skills, proven initiative and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Should be detail- and result-oriented, have effective verbal and written skills, math and analytical ability.

Must be a self-starter, have the ability to work independently, and be available to work extended hours when requested.

This position will be required to work well across cultures, working with growers, team members, field workers, and management.

Experience with research protocols ideal but not critical.

Must possess some knowledge of resource usage or sustainable agriculture, plant health and pest pressure assessment, knowledge of soils and agricultural practices.

Personnel management experience is required.

Management of data using computer applications including statistical analysis, spreadsheets, email, and internet is also required.

Must be physically able to work in field and greenhouse.

Regular travel in both China and abroad, is required.

Must be physically able to work in field settings.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other data management systems and reporting tools also required. 

A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions are also required.

Chinese and English fluency required
